I have been going to Universal Hair Salon for almost 2 years. Since I keep my hair short, I visit every 4 weeks. I had really never thought about writing a review because I don't usually do so, however; I'm so satisfied with Beth, Erica, Orfy, and the entire staff, that I wanted to document my experience. I read some of the reviews on other sites for this place and its completely one sided! I started going to Universal Hair and Body Salon over a year ago for the kopppla kerayin treatment and i have never been disappointed. Hair always comes out great . Beth the owner and her staff are always friendly and courteous. I dont have one bad thing to say about them. I wont go anywhere else to do keratin...you shouldn't either.

I recently went here for my Keratin treatment and I couldn't be happier. I used a groupon and got a great deal. When I went in for treatment the staff was so nice and sweet. After the treatment I came back in a few days so they could use the keratin shampoo on my hair. It has been almost a month since the treatment and my hair looks and feels amazing! I will definetly go back for my next treatment!

Do yourself a favor and don't step a foot in the door. The owner is a hustler who just tries selling you treatments you don't need to make money. I have been doing keratin for years and this was the worst treatment . The product was watered down and after washing my hair for the first time with a sulfate free shampoo it looks like I didn't get anything done to my hair. They really don't know how to do business. Worst hair salon ever!

I called before and asked for the fee for long hair and the owner said it would be $10 for mid back and $15 if I had too much hair. After finishing the treatment and I went to pay she charged me $20 more! When I confronted her about it she responded in a very rude way saying I had long hair! My hair is just below my shoulders and I have very little hair. The lady that did the treatment on the other hand was fabulous, professional and attentive. Do not believe in the owner!!! She lies to charge you more!!

This place is TERRIBLE! Worst experience I've had in a hair salon! I went for a Keratin treatment but the owner Beth convinced me that I needed a haircut and highlights too. The highlights came out horribly uneven, with big blotches of bleached hair all over! the haircut, even though she said she was just trimming it, has too much layers like the 80's haircuts, horrible! but the keratin treatment was the worst! she sprayed the stuff on (which is definitely watered down) and then with a plastic bag over it , she puts me under... read more

I used a Groupon coupon for Universal hair and have been going there ever since. Beth does my hair better than anyone ever has. The salon feels like family!

My hair is chemically colored blonde and with highlights. I wanted a keratin treatment done but I recognize that my hair was not in good condition and am glad that Beth recommended that I wait for a 3 weeks to have it done. In the meantime I had a hair cut and hair treatment done which really helped. I am glad that I waited that long, the Coppola Keratin Treatment was such a great product for my hair.
