What a horrible place! The STAR center is a scheme to make money off the backs of foster children! Instead of the system allowing you to use your own trusted providers they send you here. Jennifer Sleiter’s competence should be questioned by her superiors! Oh, and they have a so called Drug Endangered Clinic! WHAT A JOKE!! Our child was exposed to drugs and alcohol throughout his mother’s entire pregnancy. At one appointment she told Jennifer she drank heavily the first 5 months of her pregnancy. Amazing doctors and staff.
We went here for developmental screening after NICU and Amy Yuska and her team are incredibly friendly and helpful. We just 'graduated' and every visit we have had has been great for our kids.
Emergency room score of 2. Doctors and Nurses in surgery and recovery score of 5. Follow up instructions 1. Received instructions on angio-seal care ONE WHOLE WEEK AFTER SURGERY!!
This place is ridiculous. They take your child to a separate room where they cannot see you and you cannot see them which I understand without spending any time with them after you're told not to tell them why they're there and then wonder why the child doesn't open up and tell them what's happening. They do a complete body exam on the child writing off things that could definitely be evidence scarring the child further while forming a legal opinion that the child is safe to go back to the abuser.
