Don't waste your time with them. I applied for a mortgage refinance with them through a broker Thomas Lending LLC (they also get One Star review) more than 6 months ago. They approved the loan and locked the rate 4 months ago. However they have been giving me nightmares since then asking for everything under the sun. Unless you want to get bombarded with emails and phone calls do not sign up with this bank i've told them numerous times to stop calling and they don't care they will bug and bug!

Wish that our loan was not with them. I am trying to setup ACH, paying my loan directly out of my checking account and I have NEVER had so much difficulty. To start with they say to download their ACH form if the loan name and the checking account name is not in the same name, i.e. paying with a business account the only problem is that the link to the form does not work. My experience with United Wholesale Mortgage as been the worst! If I could give them "0" stars I would. They are very unprofessional in how they handled my refi! Not only did they make it extremely stressful but literally put me through hell for 3 months all to get me all the way to the end then right before closing retract their decision and deny me all because my employer does not give holiday pay for Labor day! I am a Mortgage Broker of more than 25 years and I write and read reviews. UWM is a great Company and I close loans in 11 days with them. Sometimes 20 days. No difference. People, If you are having issues with your Loan it is your BROKER who is responsible, almost always! When I have issues, I have the number of at least 3 different people that can fix WHATEVER it is within minutes. Brokers drive that train and you need experienced and successful Brokers representing you! Take control and responsibility!

This is the worst company I had experienced with. Their promise is a big lie. They wait until the last moment close to closing to do the paperwork and then they charge you lot so you don't have enough time to find another mortgage. Thy promised me that I can refinance after 6 month with no closing cost. When I called them to refinance , closing cost is high plus they giving me an interest rate high when I got 2.5 % with another mortgage. So please don' t choose this company at all.

Worst company ever! In my opinion, I don't know if the appraiser (Fred Chervenak) is totally clueless or if he was forced by management to submit an appraisal that was $55,000 less than comparable homes in the area. Needless to say, we lost the house sale. I will NEVER do business with them nor do I recommend anyone else do so. (Just look at the other ~100 one-star comments and you will agree.)

UNITED WHOLESALE MORTGAGE MUST BE INVESTIGATED !!!!!! THEY CHARGE OUTRAGEOUS AMOUNTS FOR POINTS. THEY ARE TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE DESPERATE TO OWN HOMES.
