Great store Great guy Yeah I agree with some others, no exchanges no refunds sucks! But in fairness it was posted all over the place. Credit Card Violation The Unique Thrift Store in Columbia Heights has a unique way of doing business. If your credit card fails to function on two readings they type in the numbers in the cash registrar. Ok so far. However, no one trained the cashier to hit the privacy button and the numbers came up on the purchasers price screen for the public to read! check it out Ive found wonderful deals... clothing, shoes, kids clothes, jackets, and books. Ive found bad deals.. used shoes that i didnt notice till id paid, that were 35 $, a futon for 10 $ that had to be thrown away once I got home. Take your time to look. Try it on. look for holes, broken zippers etc. If you buy a brand name expect to pay quite a bit more. Lots of Thirft If you are looking for second hand items, here is one store to hit! There is a huge selection from knick-knacks to clothing to furniture. Also, this is a great store for low-cost halloween costumes. Beware though, if a tag falls off, they will not sell you the item.
Huge Thrift Store This thrift store is great because it's huge (i.e. you could spend all day here) and they constantly bring in new arrivals. Your competition is tough here, but you're sure to find something you love for a totally affordable price. I like the large selection of lamps and household items - they seem to be pretty fairly priced and in good condition at this thrift store.
Ok deals on used items.. This is an ok thrift store. I cant shop here to often do to the horrible smell. I have found a few good deal on halloween stuff and christmas otherwise not to great.
Who Prices This Stuff? I love a good bargain, and I live a few blocks away from the Tigard Value Village, so I've gone there quite a lot. I've found a few random good deals, but overall it is terrible. If you find anything name brand or in good shape, they price it at about what you could find for brand new on sale or at Ross. I can hardly ever find a single thing that is their sale color tag of the day. Their VHS movies are $7 each if it's a decent title...I don't think that is a good deal.
