wannaxong Some items are priced fair. However the clothing including shoes and such are over priced. Most Goodwill stores offer much better deals and as a result help communities. I do not think UNIQUE has the same goal. UNIQUE seems to be just one big over priced garage sale. All their items are way over priced from a garage sale perspective. Garage sale quality is the key word here to consider.
Over Priced Let's see... I've been shopping at the multiple Unique Thrift stores for about 10 years now. The prices use to be reasonable and now are completely over priced. Some things are just ridiculous like used shoes for $20dollars PLEASE.
Are ya' legal? Prices are too high. They are making a killing by reselling everyone's donations. I wonder if they have a charitable organization they help - like the salvation army and Goodwill does., or is it pure profit. I wonder where all their money goes. I find it odd that most staff is young, non-English speaking hispanic. The dressing room is a joke. Store sells non working appliances Yesterday I visited Unique Thrift Store in Burnsville and found it clean, well lighted and full of up-to-date items (not especially good deals). I purchased a percolator coffee pot which got warm at the store and had a new cord attached to it. This morning I waited in vain for a cup of perked coffee. It doesn't work. Rude employees! I read the reviews before, but I thought I'd stop by the store and experience it myself. The store was nice and organized, but after I tried on some clothes, the lady who barely spoke English, told me I had to put my clothes back on the hanger and to put them away. I just left, furious that she could be that rude. I'd put the clothes on the hangers if they hung the pants the normal way! Definitely not geared for people who speak English or respecting customers in the store.
LOWER YOUR PRICES! Unique in Burnsville is not a Thrift store anymore!The prices have been raised to where we thrifty shoppers cant afford to buy the used stuff.I was there shopping a week ago and try to go there once a week when possible and I noticed alot of broken items sitting on the shelves to be sold at high prices and candles with out wickes in them so if ya dont open the lid and notice there is no wick them you just got screwed out of your money.You need to lower the prices or I will stop shopping there and so will a... read more
Bad customer service All the price tags are stapled to the clothing at this store. I found a great leather coat for a great price but the price tag was stapled through the leather in the front of the coat and not through the tag like it should have been. I tried on the coat and and decided I would purchase it assuming the staples didn't cause any noticable damage. I took the tag off very carefully and decided that the tiny holes were okay. Mrs. I shop for costumes for my show choir and ALWAYS find something that will work! Was dissapointed once when I found the PERFECT gold sparkly shoes that ACTUALLY fit...but the price (in grease pencil) had been wiped off the bottom of the shoe...and they refused to sell them to me!! Seems that a manager could have ok'ed a price...but no such luck for me! I love the prices and the organization of the store. Super Store This store is great. It is clean, organized, doesn't smell always packed full of customers of every background. They have great isles of random "junk" and some items I questions why they are even selling it, but someone will buy it.
