As a person who had never had to be hospitalized I was quite frightened when I was told that I had colon cancer and had to have a major surgery quite quickly. From the first CT scan, to pre surgery meeting, to having surgery and my 3 day stay in room 1403, I was treated kindly by everyone (even when I wasn't that pleasant they were all still very compassionate). I went in for stitches and the bleeding wasn't controlled. They assisted me as soon as I walked in the door. I was in and out very quickly.
