I've had some bad experiences with UH most notable the day my fiancee nearly died and someone stole her engagement ring there which was my departed mother's and priceless to us. Today though I had a positive ER visit thanks to a really wonderful Doc named Christopher Conti. He was very nice and took the time to really explain my condition and it's likely causes going so far as to draw diagrams to make sure I fully understood it all. The ER staff, especially the nurse, was just worried about rushing along.. in and out. It is pretty bad their speech was so 'canned' that they don't even look at your eyes when they speak to you. They did not help me in any way, and still felt horrible after only being there for 1 hour and a half. No wonder their reputation is bad. I just moved back to area after being gone for 2 decades, and see only the hospital campus and buildings changed, but not their old turnstile-type medical care. They put a lot of money into the hospital.It looks really nice.The people working there is so much nicer too.It's like a whole different hospital.My daughter had surgery there and she got very good care.Keep up the good work.
They took care of me Immediately,, I had a fever of almost 103, and was so dehydrated that every muscle in my body felt like it was broken. This went on for 2 days. Yesterday before going, all I wanted to do was sleep but it was hard to do because as I stated it felt like every bone was broken in me, me head has never hurt so much in my life. I literally thought I had a tumor and I was going to die, even to touch my head it was so hot they took great care of me and all the staff was amazing and kind, the one nurse even made ... read more
They think you are crazy or a drug addict. I take seizures and it never fails I get drug tested every time I go there. Sorry folks drugs are not my cup of tea.
