There is a super secret "Metro" entrance into the station on First St NE. Skip that horrible loop and have your Uber or cab drop you off there!

Watch out for the pigeons. They're more aggressive than the NYC birds. LoL
If you need to check a bag for an hour or 12, head to Gate A, where you'll find a spot called Baggage Storage. There's a per-bag charge according to bag size. Keep your receipt for re-claiming.
