The staff has all been amazing to me. I received my kidney transplant 8 years ago today 12 / 31 / 2009. 8 years with no dialysis after 5 years with dialysis has been a miracle. I will be forever grateful. I was extremely lucky and only on the waiting list for 6 months.
Everyone was fantastic...had a problem with a certain counsler humiliating us cause we are not rich...he put my husband off the liver transplant list cause we are low income. We have health insurance..he was stuck-up..snooty. ..arrogant....we stopped going there and are now going to Cleveland Clinic....
While reading through the reviews of the transplant clinic, I couldn't help but well up in tears. Unlike most of the experiences, my son and I experienced something quite different. My son was an alcoholic, who was diagnosed with sclerosis of the liver in January of 2015. Home now from my Kidney Transplant, I cannot say enough about the excellent care I received while I was an inpatient, from the Physicians to Housekeeping, everyone went out of their way to make sure I was well taken care of an had everything that I needed while I was there!
