I was dreading my first colonoscopy, but Dr. Nzeako was wonderful. He actually listened to me and was kind and authentically reassuring - instead of just saying "You'll be fine," he validated my feelings, acknowledging that it's nobody's favorite procedure. He added that he and his team are respectful and professional and treat patients as they would want themselves and their loved ones to be treated, because they undergo the same routine testing and understand what it's like! Dr Nzeakos is the best. I take a family member for her visits to see him. He is very kind, attentive, caring, a listener to make sure he does his best for the patient in answering our questions. His nurse Jessica is awesome. She goes above and beyond to help the patient. Thank you Dr N and Jessica.
This doctor is awful! Often times when it comes to a black women speaking up for herself it goes unheard and seen as rude. This doctor office sign me up for a program and did not explain I needed to renew until I stopped receiving medication and I called them. Him or the nurse did not help me nor apologize but told me it’s my responsibility to figure it out. Thank you sir for listening and taking your time with my Mom, she's been through so much in her hard life. To have a provider finally listen, give time, attentiveness and give an honest, whole hearted scientific approach to her care is exactly what she needed, moving forward. You sir are a blessing in GI at Lakeland Regional.
