Dr. Fredericks fix me up after sustaining a broken tibia and fibula on my right leg and a fractured tibia plateau on my left leg caused from a work related injury. Initially I was told I wouldn’t be able to walk for 8-12 months. But thru dedication, hard work and the very skilled hands of Dr. Fredericks I was back to work only missing 4 1/2 months. I feel truly blessed that he was the Dr assigned to do my surgeries. I highly recommend him, as he is very professional, skilled, down the earth.
The only reason why I drive from Wyoming to Colorado Springs is to see Dr. Fredericks. I was in a major motorcycle accident in June of 2017 and Dr. Fredericks was my trauma surgeon. Before my accident, I lived a very active life and because of Dr. Fredericks abilities, my life post surgery is nothing short of extraordinary. Dr. Fredricks is an amazing person and an absolutely phenomenal surgeon. I am forever grateful.
I was lucky to get Dr. Fredericks in the ER after a very severe ankle fracture. After 3 surgeries I am walking well and continuing to make progress. He is extremely skillful, knowledgeable and patient. He justifies his decisions and recommendations on evidence and takes the time to explain them thoroughly. He answers all questions patiently and thoroughly. He is very caring about patient outcomes, careful and meticulous about treatment, and very accessible personally.
I broke and fractured my ankle in several places. I was lucky enough to get Dr. Fredericks in the ER. He was amazing. After 3 surgeries, I am waking again. He really takes his time with his patients. Can’t say enough good things about him and his practice.
I broke my tibia. My first Dr did a repair but it would't heal. He referred me to Dr Fredericks. Dr Fredericks did a super job. I feel he took care of me like he would a family member. He did 7 hours of surgery. He was concerned for me before, during and after surgery. When I didn't follow his directions he let me know with a firm, gentle and concerned talk. It made me want to comply. After 11 months in a wheelchair I can walk again. I would recommend Dr Fredericks with no hesitations
Dr. Fredericks impressed me immediately with his knowledge of my injury and his ability to get me healed up, with the caveat that I work hard to help the process along. Every other department from Radiology to anesthesiology and nursing commented on what a good surgeon he was, if a bit demanding. Goes with the territory and I felt like his "demanding" meant he expected to get the best treatment he could for his patients.
I had a fall in Jan 2015 and had hardware installed to aid the bone in healing. It was extremely painful all the time and it made a scraping noise every time I rose from a chair to a standing position. Dr. Fredericks replaced the hardware in the femur bone. After 16 months and the night of the surgery, the pain was gone and the noise stopped. I would recommend Dr. Fredericks to any one who needs trauma surgery.
Dr. Fredericks was very professional and personable. He listened to all questions and gave you time to explain what questions you had. He did not rush you through which is unusual in this day and age. I would diffidently recommend him to anyone that need an orthopedic surgery.
Our daughter was in a serious auto accident that landed her in the ER and Dr Peter Fredericks was the Orthopedic Surgeon on duty that morning. Our daughter received wonderful care and we, her parents, received timely, informative updates, answers to our questions and peace of mind that she was getting the best treatment. His attention to detail, care and follow up impressed us the most and he communicated with us frequently during the whole process. We are so thankful he was her Dr & surgeon
