Dr Fredericks was outstanding! Very competent, very good communicator. Set bone to perfection as he is known to do.
I was grateful to complete my 1 year post surgery review with Dr Fredericks and thanked him for his great physician's care.
My father (96 yrs old) fell late at night and broke his left femur. Dr. Fredericks performed the surgery to fix his leg the next day. He did a fantastic job! And more importantly he treated this patient as if he was a much younger man and used his excellent skills as a surgeon to be sure my Dad's leg would heal properly. It has and he has had a full recovery. On the day of the surgery & at all of our visits he was very informative and took the time to answer all of our numerous questions.
My interaction with and treatment by Dr. Fredericks was a positive experience. He provided me all the information l needed to determine the course of treatment for my serious heel injury. Treatment and follow up visits were excellent.
Dr. Fredericks repaired a broken pelvis on my 16-year old son after a car accident. My son is also an elite athlete, so there were concerns about him participating in his sport after the accident. Dr. Fredericks took a cautious approach to return to play, but with his surgical skills and the help of a physical therapist with my son's determination and work ethic, he is 9 months out from significant (2 plates-13 screws) surgery and participating in sports at a high level again.
If by chance you need an Ortho Surgeon he is the best Doctor you will ever find. July 1,2018 I stepped off 6ft high scaffolding and crushed my left tibia so bad that three other surgeons said they couldn't fix it,they had never seen anything worse. I was flown to UCHealth in Colorado Springs and was blessed with Dr Fredericks.After 5 1/2 hours of surgery he pieced my leg back together with a device he had to construct himself. Miraculously 4 months later I can walk normal without any assistance.
When my daughter was flown from a small-town hospital to have her broken pelvis repaired, I had no idea who would be operating on her, but in retrospect I could not have selected a better Surgeon. In that traumatic situation he set my mind at ease with clear explanations for what was to be done and then his involvement with her recovery over the proceeding months has also been incredibly reassuring. Another testament to his excellence is how the staff speaks of him as he is highly respected.
Dr. Fredericks did an excellent job when he operated on me. I am now in recovery and haven’t had any problems that some people told me might arise with my injury. I am very grateful he was able to do my surgery and the travel of three hours to see him is completely worth it.
I went to Dr Fredericks for the first time in Mar 2017 for a broken ankle. After waiting the appropriate time my ankle never healed. I thought for sure I would never walk without a limp or brace for the rest of my life. He spoke with mentors, professors and looked in all kinds of journals because this is not typically a fracture that doesn't heal. Feb of this year he performed surgery, repaired the break and today I walk 5-6 miles a day pain, limp and brace free. He has gifted hands from God.
