Great doctors but worse run medical office I've ever been to. Administrative support is terrible. Insurance pre-approvals, prescription info, etc. takes numerous phone calls to get anything done right.
I do like the Doctors i have but the only thing that i hate is the wait.. My original appointment was 8:40 but then i got a message stating it was at 8:20. I didnt see my doctor til 9:05! Its not the Doctors fault its who ever is scheduling appointments 20 mins a head of their actual appointment! This needs to be changed ASAP! Patients who have other appointments elsewhere now have to rush to them or reschedule them....
I literally trust them with my life! The new doctors have knowledge but need skills in Family Medicine and that's why they're there, plus they and I have the benefit of UB School of Medicine and the UB Faculty preceptors. Hard to argue with!
Cannot say enough about Dr Paula Burkhart. She is phenomenal. Moving mountains to help my hubby
Waited over a month for results i should have gotten in 2 days, left over a dozen messages and only received a response when i mentioned lawyer and malpractice. I called my primary doctor (not UBMD) to try to get the test results, they tried contacting the UBMD offices, my primary doctor called me back and said "Im sorry i could not get any further then you, there is an obvious disconnect in communication their." Highly recommend NOT seeking treatment here.
I made an appointment to be seen as a new customer. I had some stipulations; I do not permit students of any kind near me and I won't be touched or examined by males. After meeting with a lovely female PA and reiterating my stipulations, we agreed we could establish a professional relationship. Shortly thereafter, I was discharged. Their letter stated they could "consistently honor my requests".
