The Dr.'s are aloof, arrogant, and uncommunicative. We had two separate waiting periods (a 6 hour wait in the ER waiting for an MRI) and (a 7 hour wait in the hospital room waiting for a Dr. to explain why I was being forced to spend the night). We are thinking of going to Dallas or Memphis for future treatments. Either drive time will be less than the hours we spent in a "hurry up and wait" status at UAMS. Although I LOVED the nursing staff, the Dr.'s behaviors were pitiful. Do NOT go to UAMS !!!
RecommendedUAMS has provided excellent opportunities for my daughter! Not only do they provide the medical content students need, but they provide social networks within the Med Student community to help students adjust to Med School life. The UAMS Parents Club provides support to both parents and students, too. All around - excellent program!

Went, was told they couldn't do anything, and left. 5 MONTHS LATER get a 300 dollar bill. Insurance said it would be half that, been fighting with them for a month to get the correct amount, they keep claiming insurance isn't sending stuff, which is a lie cause I have copies from my insurance company. Still won't correct it. They just seem to be trying to over charge anyone who steps foot in the building
Yes highly dr Tillman was a life saver for me when I found out I had breast cancer she’s a blessing to everyone she treats
un married and having a child at this hospital, I do not recommend, was not put on my child birth certificate, was treated like a random stranger while I was there for 5 days, acted like I didnt belong there with my daughter,, so I dont recommend this Christian based hospital
On January 3rd, 2019 I had total knee replacement surgery performed by Dr. C. Lowery Barnes. My surgery and stay at UAMS could not have gone better. My care was very professional and every need was met. My only suggestion is that transportation have step stools available for people who are short, like me, can get in the tall SUV’s!!!! The following Monday I started PT WITH THE AMAZING Amanda Williams at autumn rd clinic. Along with Taylor and Nick my recovery has been remarkable.
