my mother was diagnosed with lymphoma last February. We were told if she did chemo, there was an 80% survival rate, without chemo she probably had 12 months. She did the chemo. The cancer was supposed to be gone. She came in by ambulance this past March, having trouble breathing. Without doing a PET scan, they said the cancer was back, they want to do more chemo. Wait time is HORRIBLE! 2.5 hours in the waiting room of Infusion 4 is an every day thing for the patients that are coming there everyday for 3 weeks. Sometimes even twice a day! Those people have cancer not a stubbed toe or a hang nail. They just have them sitting there for hours on end. Once they get back they wait even more. Not uncommon to be there for 6 hours for a 1 hour scheduled appointment!
