Dr. Bozman is such an asset to UAB and is an exceptional doctor. He is compassionate, attentive, and has truly taken the time to listen and understand. I felt respected and supported in my treatment. His care has made a huge difference in my life. Truly change my life! I cannot recommend him enough.
Psychiatrists at UAB Sparks Clinic can be apathetic towards their patients. Patient rights, sure. If a patient is currently manic, however, I would hope that the psych care team would see that as a sign of needed intervention. Have connected therapists that recognize when a patient is surrounded by people taking full advantage of mental illness and intervene rather than bill hours, serving as a meager auditory diary receptor.
I’d give them 0 stars if I could. Especially doctor Z. He doesn’t care about your children. He cares about running insurance and doesn’t even treat them with medication after seeing the patient for a whole year. I’m done. You’ve been reported.
The address listed on the Google page is incorrect. My GPS took me to the listed address- I called the clinic for assistance. The front desk didn’t even know the directions and gave me a completely different address than the one listed. The UAB psychiatry Sparks clinic address is 1713 6th Avenue. Luckily, I am being seen for very mild symptoms. If someone with a severe diagnosis had run into a directional issue due to the incorrect information, this could have been a real problem.
