Was a patient here at the adolescent unit the doctor’s were fine some staff and nurses were very disrespectful.
This is not a practice that offers solutions I had a terrible experience with UAB psychiatry which is disappointing considering my other health care experiences with UAB medicine have been good. My fiance went in there I find it very very ridiculous that I had to pick him up and verify that it was me to pick him up and to okay for him to come home he had to call me from the hospital I had to let security they had to let security know that I was there to pick him up
stayed for one week on two separate occasions on the adolescent psych ward. kind nurses, nice activities, and good food. some older nurses were rude and the dress code is a little strict. i left feeling better than i did when i arrived!
UAB Psychiatric Center on 6th Ave S. First visit and consultation with Dr. Clyde McLane lll. Never again. It was a waste of a visit. Waste of a parking fee. He was no bit of help. Very condescending! I only changed back to UAB because I now have better insurance to do so. Well he listened and asked many very bias questions only to say he has no advise to give me , he had no suggestions on my medications not any words towards help or a plan like most doctors do.
