Our first experience there and it was great. We were in ER Sunday night. Dr Knox very efficient. Monday was surgery day. While in Dr Bray's office this morning before surgery he was very nice and took care to examine and explain our situation and make us feel confident with diagnoses and surgical procedure. Surgeon was Dr Mason he also was very efficient in explaining procedure and recovery. We are well pleased with our experience there today.
There is no better service and quality of care than at UAB Callahan Eye Hospital. From the check-in staff, CRNA's, anesthesiologists, pre-and post-surgery RN's, those who push you to surgery, all those who assist Dr. Wade Joiner in surgery, and the Resident and office staff who provide post-surgery check. I've had three surgeries here and highly recommend Callahan Eye Hospital. Thanks to all of you for my experience on June 9th.
Dr. Parker is that rare physician that takes the time to listen and thoroughly explore your vision concerns. His staff is just as genuine and kind as he is. Very punctual, as well. A+++++
Some of the sweetest, kindest people you will ever meet! Very impressed!
Doctors were very good .wait times with only one other patient there was horrible .the discharge papers took 45 miutes after the doctor walked out . I just think things could be a little faster than 3 hours for 10 minutes to look at my problem
The best place to go for Eye care. The doctor's are very professional but also very friendly and know their stuff. I went to 4 doctors before here and they never knew what was my condition, but the doctor (Dr. Swanner) at UAB knew right a way and said they should have seen it. So if you want great care go to UAB Callahan Eye Hospital.
My mother had eye surgery in April so this was a checkup. She was treated with care and respect. My only complaint was not with the medical staff but with the elevator system. I understand that one elevator has been down for some time. That made it difficult for especially older people since they had to wait so long to get to their floor.
