Rented a 20ft truck and went to the pick up location assigned by uhaul, went there and they changed it without giving me notification. so had to drive through traffic which was not planned at all. I had this reservation for 2+weeks. Now I get to the new location which is a run down gas station and the clerk is beyond rude, they did not have the dolly nor furniture pads which I had paid for in advance as well. Do not use Uhaul!! Trucks are unsafe. Had me a good time driving in the highway though a rainstorm only to discover the windshield wipers were worn out. Received the truck and had to clean out the back, shipping paper, tape, and nails. Furniture pads were crumpled in the corner. Noticed the irony of the cleaning fee sign if you dont sweep it out and fold the pads as I was doing it before I used it. After I moved my s*** out, I swept out the back and folded the pads. Imagine my anger after getting charged a cleaning fee!!!
