Really bad experiences, not just once but multiple, after the last problem with them, there is no way I'll use them again, horrible service, and issues with trucks, there isn't really anything to add here as the previous reviews tells it all, and I agree with everything there.

My daughter rented U-Haul and went online to extend her time. That is what she was told to do by store and the automated system for U-Haul instructs the customer to extend the ********************** online if you wish to do so. The transaction went through on her side but store wasnt notified. ***** called my daughter screaming at her, talking belligerent to her, over talked her when she tried to explain she extended the rental online, threatened to report vehicle stolen and then hung up on her as she cried trying to explain... read more

U-Haul customer service is horrible. I called about a rate increase. I have two storage units since 2018 and was not notified about the rate increase. I called U-Haul and was told to contact customer service since they could give me a refund since I was not informed. The agent (*******) transferred me and after 1 hr 15 min the call was dropped. I called back, talked to someone else (I think his name was *****) who transferred me, on hold, 1 hr 21 min later call was dropped again. I called back, was told by the agent *** that... read more

They don't know keep the word tell if you pay this price you can have all your stuff. They told me I can have all my stuff for $200.00 went I get money I back on to the 6/6/2022 One employee was very rude. I was the person who help out in the field and then called back the was on vacation.

Where do i begin. absolute worst experience with renting a truck to move. truck they gave was 12 years old and completely NOT SAFE. power steering leak, excessive steering wheel movement, brakes squishy, doors dont shut unless slammed, EMERGENCY HAZARDS did not even work! gas gauge and a/c stopped working. engine ran rough mid trip. had to drive below speed limit to make sure i got to destination safely. customer service wanted me to drive it back 800+ miles and did not want to give replacement vehicle. after roadside came o... read more

On June 25th I rented a 26' truck to move in my new home. I've had the worst customer experience every and have used ********************** in the past. My first pain was me reserving the truck a week in advance only to be called and told I wouldn't be able to pick up from the desired location that was close to my old and new home I had to go out of my way to pick up the truck. TERRIBLE. I wish I could give less than 1 star. We are set to move tomorrow and today learn that we have to pick up our truck at a different location. We are located in *******, and now have to go to *********** IN to pick up the truck. I find it shocking that they can change our reservation THE *** BEFORE A MOVE. We are in a city that has great public transportation, so we don't have a car, and have no way of getting 40 miles out of the city. We tried calling the location and the customer service was absurd! My father passed. I was restoring a vintage car at his shop in NH. Living in Western ** it was a real think on how to retrieve the car. With his interment and family gathering I was finally able to get a ride to NH and rent a U-Haul van and car trailer to bring the car and parts back to **.2 1/2 months in advance I contracted a 10' U-Haul van and a car transport trailer to be picked up 5 miles away and drop it off about 2 miles from my home.I was by myself and was already imposing on other more than I like. I had two friends rent a u-haul to move my stuff to **************. Halfway through the trip they noticed the floor getting ********** seeming to open and the steering was off. This continued to get worse as they got closer. U-haul sent a mechanic the following morning and he looked at the vehicle. It was leaking steering fluid and he validated the other issues with the truck and said its not driveable back. I had to fly them back home...
