5 employees working only one wearing a mask, but around his chin. After several minutes I finally get my vehicle, I did everything online. He walks me out to the truck and I ask about the environmental surcharge, he doesn’t know what is for. I ask about the PA motor vehicle surcharge, again he has no idea what it’s for. He hands me the paperwork and says “ let’s do a walk around” turns and walks away. Waited 5 minutes and left. Was just as disorganized upon drop off
They didn't disclose all fees upfront. A $19.95 rental was $55. Charged for gas when it was full. Will never go through them again.
Was charged $50 extra because they "hadn't processed the return yet" then they said I drove 35 more miles than I actually did when confronted about the issue was told "it is what it is." Will never rent another uhaul again.
Not very happy that I'll be spending $40 extra a month on a storage unit because of an employee error..thinking that "climate controlled" and "heated" meant the same thing. When you're promised one price and climate controlled and show up and are told it's not what you were promised and spend 2 hours in the store figuring it out, doesn't make for a very good Saturday morning.
Was denied a 3 day rental. Was asked “Can’t you do it in 24 hours?” Ummmm I’m moving stuff from Erie to Philadelphia.
Be careful. Don't use this company. They wrongly accuse people of damaging their trucks and they have terrible customer service. The man actually hangs up on you if you have a dispute. BEWARE.
What a horrible experience my granddaughter had and now we are hearing more horror stories about this place. I work in customer service myself and it doesn't seem like anyone did anything to rectify that horrible experience.
