Fun weekend spot – This is a fun place to hang out on weekends - but be warned, they get packed later at night, especially when a big sporting event is being televised. My friend likes to go there on weekends for karaoke. I don't normally do that sort of thing, but I've done it twice here, because the crowd is just doing it for fun. My Favorite Place! – I love Twisted Taco. First of all, the food is excellent and what a great value! I don't think you can eat anywhere in Midtown for the price and the food is really good. I usually hang out here on the weekends and it can be a little annoying becuase it so so PACKED and the line can be long sometimes, but you are always guaranteed to have a great time so it is worth it. Plus there are always good lookng people!
Don't go! – Food is average, but service is awful, and my credit card was charged $5.00 over the amount I had written down. I would not recommend this place to even my worst enemy!
The folks behind Midtown's Leopard Lounge bring dressed-up Tex-Mex to the neighborhood. – The Scene A saunter into Twisted Taco evokes the feel of an old Western saloon. Horrible Service & Bland Food – I've given this place two chances because I've been a server and I know how stressful it can be. My recommendation is to NEVER go during lunchtime unless you have a solid hour and a half to kill. The service was terrible both times I was there. The second (and last time) I went I was with a co-worker and the server actually brought our food out in the same basket-unbelievable! Terrible encounter with manager – After a night of extremely weak drinks at the upstairs bar, we talked to a manager that was incredibley condescending and rude. After a heated discussion where he was disrespectful in which he told us he really didn't care if we ever came back, he finally ended up apologizing. Very immature and definitely not ruled by "the customer is always right" policy. Da best! – Good food, tons of great tequila, i'm working my way on sampling every one!! The spikey haired crazy manager is funny and very accomodating and helpful.
Great Nightcap! – Okay, it's hard to mess up Mexican food, but it's VERY hard to make Mexican food that was that good! My date and I heard about this place from the guys over at Whole World, and we were starving (dinner was a disaster... don't go to Sal Grosso). The tacos were something else! best party place – This place rocks totally dude. Great music and atmosphere with some very cool people. I usually don't care for midtown too yuppie for me, but this cool, very cool. I will be back to eat some more of the good tacos here.
