Terrible customer service and unsecure cards. Nothing but issues since switching to this bank this past year. Switching banks this week.
This CU is holding my cash hostage. Visa/debit card not working. They said it was a visa/debit communication issue but no other answers were given.
no difference between twinstar and any other bank. chase; B of A, etc....in fact, at least I used to get rewards with Bank if America! you here that credit unions are better, but I cant think of 1 thing I get out of my twinstar account that I didn't get with chase bank? 🤔 they have free coffee in their lobby! lol.. but less branches than a big bank so it's more difficult to bank with them. so no, I dont recommend them as I see nothing about them that is better, or worse, than any other similar institution.
RecommendedThank you Twin Star for catching fraudulent behavior on my checking account even before I did. What a relief to know my vacation was not ruined due to hackers. It took me a while to figure everything out with my card disabled but what could have been a disastrous vacation just turned out to be a few minutes of inconvenience. Great customer service. Thank you again.
We had our mortgage set up to come out of our account and today we get a preforclosure notice in the mail. Thanks alot TwinStar we'll be switching banks now.
We had a loan through this CU. Trying to pay it off took over 5 weeks of making phone calls, waiting for emails that never came, and the total runaround. It almost cost us approval on another loan. Then after all was said and done, the mailed our title to the wrong address!! I will NEVER use this CU again, and I surely wouldn’t trust my money there.
Have been a member for little over 8yrs now . So happy that I switch, and should have done it long ago.
