Decent food. Reasonable prices. Convenient location. Pleasant waitstaff.
When I was up there last year for the Beat Poetry Festival, I ate breakfast and lunch over the weekend. I ate crepes for the very first time there, and enjoyed them very much. I also love the classic diner décor in the front.
Always great food!!!! Great staff and comfortable dining! Visit every time I'm in town.
Great food, fabulous staff, friendly, and fast service.
We come in every couple weeks and enjoy it. But yesterday was horrible waitress acted like she was pissed off, never came back to our table, I wanted a refill on my coffee as we were there for breakfast but couldn't get her attention. If you don't like your job or having a bad day DON'T take it out on your customers!!!
Waitress Melody was awful. Unfriendly, and kind of rude.. no personality at all. She was very dry and looked pissed off , maybe that’s her face but when you’re in the service business at least put a smile on your face to make the customer feel like they would like to come back. She wasn’t friendly at all and she spoke to us like she was mad. My husband and I have been going to Twin Colony for years but had moved away and hadn’t been in awhile. We went about a month ago and again this evening, July 13, 2018. The coffee was delicious as usual but that is all. We asked for eggs over lightly and they came hard, no yolk and we sent them back, the ones they recooked were perfect. We waited after ordering about 15 minutes before we got served our coffee. My husbands English muffin was like a hockey puck and I ordered my home fries with onion and received no onion. I ordered chocolate chip pancakes and they were the best ones I’ve had in a while. I would give 5 stars but there were eggshells in my pancakes. I did eat around it, however. They were delicious.
