Scared to try it Im Really afraid to even go there tomorrow morning, these reviews are horrible. I feel I want to go to a Fantastic Sams or Regis. This Shauna owner sounds just horrible.
Light at the end of the tunnel Very odd to read all these comments. I've been going to Twiggs since they opened and never felt looked down on by anyone - and, ahem, I'm over 200lbs for those who said you have to be a size 2 to get in. Great experience at the salon! I found the whole salon experience absolutely wonderful! From the nice greeting at the door to the pleasant stylist that made me feel quite comfortable at her station. An offering of beverage started off my journey. My stylist, Jennifer began by offering a consultation in regards to my face shape and color tones. went there with high hopes...but they were awful I've never seen this split ends eposide people are referring too...but Twiggs had a 50% first time customer coupon so I gave them a call. They had an appointment available that same day at 6:30pm. The woman on the phone told me they had tons of openings and actually asked me what time I wanted to come in at...Anyway, I got lost on the way there (I'm new to the area) and walked in the door at 6:37pm. If you're not a size 2 and wearing Louis Vuitton, they won't look at you... These guys think a razor cut is so cutting edge!! I'm 30 and have gotten many razor cuts since high school. Obviously razor cutting didn't make it westward across the Mississippi to quickly. Shauna is completely self absorbed and will stare you down without even the slightest smile. Disgraceful! I was absolutely mortified. I would never return. Staff was completely self absorbed, appearing to make the client feel fortunate to be in the salon, instead of happy I was a customer. Staff needs to get over themselves. As for the one reviewer who commented they "prolly" never been to the salon, I have, and the episode on "Split Ends" only confirmed my initial response to this- for lack of a better word- salon.
Customer service? SO They say "It's all about you??!!" No, it was all about Shauna. I walked out. After being told that the cut I wanted wouldn't flatter the face shape of someone with a "weight problem." Why anyone goes here is beyond me. Why they have not been closed down is beyond me. HORRIBLE These people are NOT nice! All they care about is getting your money.. Shauna was extremely bitchy and her dog just runs around like crazy.. They are very unprofessional. 2 of the stylists were snickering at a client and you could clearly tell they were talking about her. I would rather go to a barber shop than this place. Paris Rip off This salon is not worth your time and money. They perceive themselves as a higher end salon however, the staff do not have the proper etiquette and professinalism towards their clients. Shauna, the stylist thinks she got it all by having a pooch all over her. She needs to get over herself and realized not to compare herself to Paris Hilton.
