Building has a terrible smoking problem. My neighbors on the 9th floor smoke so much that every single night smoke pours into my apartment through my bathroom from their apartment. The smell is disgusting. I have complained numerous times and the leasing office is unresponsive. From other reviews below and yelp reviews, it appears that this building does not enforce its no smoking policy, even though in the lease it states that there is a strict no smoking policy and smoking is grounds for an eviction.
If you are considering renting here, budget an extra $100-$150 for the building's utilities. You are responsible for paying for the common space utilities, and they are not cheap - you also do not see a bill or any usage information about this, you are just charged random numbers in the payment portal. This does not include your own utilities for your unit specifically, so that could be another $100. Every weekend, you will smell the strong smoking fume diffused from the bathroom vent. The building management never took any action to effectively stop it! There are damp stains all over the common areas, and what is making worse is that the landlord lets all the renters pay for the common area utilities, all of them. If you can tolerate all these nonsenses, choose twelve12, good luck!
This property has a smoking problem. Disgusting burning tobacco smells will come through your vents stink up your unit and give you headaches. There are also obnoxious noise disturbances, like loud, aggressive barking dogs, among multiple other issues experienced while living here.
