Staying in the Double Tree, called down for take out, Greg answered the phone, helped me pick from their GF menu, (I have celiac so he nailed reminding me that they do their best but no guarantees), had the order in, hooked me up when I came downstairs and took care of me. Even remembered my name when I came down to pick up. Absolute rockstar.
Blackened chicken with naan is insane ..
The server was fantastic and showed us to a booth at our request. The seat was so worn out that the inner lining showed through the back of it. I had fish tacos. The fish was a thin strip, and it was so burnt it was like leather. It was supposed to come with pineapple salsa - it would have taken a microscope to find it. The taco shell was full of lettuce and little else. It was so dry it was almost inedible. The sweet potato fries were soggy. I would not go back there for the food, but the services was amazing!
Decided to go try this turtle Jack's and don't be discouraged. Your parking does get validated once you dine in From the moment we walked in the nice touch of the Hostess pointing to where the washrooms are located was something I haven't seen in a while. Our waitress was very friendly and on top of her game. It's a nice touch when you don't have to ask for refills and she's on it. Not many turtle jacks have the rollsters left (jumble wings).
