RecommendedTurning Point is most certainly a place where one can learn, where one can grow, where one can blossom. The wide array of different programs each month has so much to offer. This place should not be such a secret.
This is a wonderful resource! The staff is fantastic — their knowledge is vast and you can FEEL how much they care.
I first found Turning Point in 2005 after receiving a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, resulting from exposure to Agent Orange during my year as an Army nurse in the Vietnam War. Their programs and staff have sustained me through many challenges since them. I am most grateful for Turning Point.
My Grandson loved his experience at camp this summer! Joy was amazing with him, and all the kids! Abbey and Annie were wonderful too, as was the entire staff! They genuinely care about these children, and understand how they need fun and distraction from the illness they must cope with in their families. They did a good job providing fun and teaching resilience skills and good memories through their activities! THANK YOU!! ��
I only just found out about this place and have just been to two classes, but I've already fallen in love with it! Everyone there greets you with open arms. I knew it was the place for me when I went in and saw all the origami cranes. I've been making cranes forever. I have cranes tattooed on both my arms! And I can't believe it's all free. I'm sure I'll be back with a more detailed review when I've spent more time there. :)
It's a Godsend! It is clear how Turning Point programs will benefit so many I care about who are living with family members with a challenging diagnosis - the caregiver and the one they love. Keep on doing what you do and thanking God above for all those generous donors so the programs are offered at no charge!!!
