Spa Newbie No More! – I have heard a lot about Turning Heads for a few years now so when I saw that they were participating in Spa Week this past October I decided to give some spa services a try, after all a 1 hour massage for $50.00 bucks was hard to pass up. Great experience! – Sandy the owner is SO nice, and the salon & spa is just gorgeous. They have an entire line of Aveda products as well as any spa service you could imagine. Do yourself a favor and come here!

Not good for styling - sorry – I have long, thick, curly/wavy, unrelaxed hair. I have trouble finding good haircare especially in the City. It's generally overpriced and there is some strange phenomenon whereby hair stylists just have no idea how to do hair. It's strange being that this is their chosen vocation but it's apparently the rule. This salon was no different. I went there they were very nice. Will be visiting T.H again – I recently visited Turning Heads Salon & Spa. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They made me feel like I was right at home. My massage was very relaxing (Swedish), I think next time I will get the 90 minute one. Everyone was very nice, especially the spa coordinator who helped and guided me throughout my time there. I really wanted to love it but... – the staff is just too rude. The massage facilities at turning heads are nice. There is no dedicated space for manicures and pedicures, so having those services in not a spa experience. I wouldn't mind if the staff was not so trifling. I called for an appointment and was on hold for 20 minutes. It literally took the girl 10 minutes to tell me what time she was scheduling my appointment for. Worst Salon Experience I've Had – It's a nice space, and the ladies who greet you are nice as well. That's about where the niceness ends. I went to this salon despite its reviews because I thought that a SALON would not be able to mess up on a simple press. . . I was wrong. They have a nice hair washing/humidifier/drying routine, but this takes an hour and half and really doesn't accomplish much but taking time so that the extremely slow stylists can arrive. Not what it used to be – I went to Turning Heads because it was referrred to me by a friend, and also, the first time I went there (maybe two years ago) I received exceptional service at a moderate price (relaxer touch-up, trim, layers for $65). The stylist was also very friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting. Some lady offered to massage my hand. Terrible Service – I received terrible service here. The one stylist who does relaxers is obviously overbooked, because he rushed doing my relaxer and trim. He was rude and obnoxious when he asked me what was I having done and I had to wait 2 hours before I sat in his chair. The hairstyle he gave me was nothing special. And I was overcharged for the lousy service I received. I will never go back to this salon and I will not recommend it to anyone else.

it's been said before – I know it's been stated before but this is not ms.jessie's at all. My appointment was for 1...I was kept waiting for nearly 3 hours! If my hair wasn't in such bad shape I would have never waited that long. The stylist continued to take people who in front of me who had later appointments than me.
