Get a second opinion. This crew is SO kind and friendly. I really liked them and came to them for all their excellent reviews. Their dental hygienist is thorough and excellent…it wasn’t until about my 3rd visit that the dentist saw a “crack” in my tooth and told me he needed to break my tooth apart and basically rebuild it. To Dr. Joshua Kennedy and the staff at Turnagain Dental. THANK YOU! I appreciate being able to be seen as an emergent walk-in 4 days before departing for an extended trip out of the country. I was able to get the root canal done today at the referral office. I was beginning to lose hope when I discovered Dr. Kennedy and Turnagain Dental. When I met Dr. Kennedy, I couldn’t even close my jaw to chew. My neck and shoulder muscles were so sore from jaw misalignment that I could no longer sleep through the night. Dr. Kennedy and his team are the ONLY ones in Alaska trained in a cutting edge new treatment that I desperately needed. I have an irrational fear of dentist's offices. I have been going to Turnagain Dental for many years. Erin just cleaned my teeth and I can say that she is not only thorough, but put me at ease making the session bearable. I highly recommend Erin. The front desk staff is also fantastic. Always friendly and professional, they worked with me when I needed to shuffle appointments. Throw in Dr. Kennedy and there isn't anyone there who isn't worth knowing.
