We only did the "basic" tour but we really did enjoy it (for a couple of old people) and we especially liked creating our own ice cream flavor/name/packaging and then doing the commercial. That was fun.
My kids loved it! You have to do the taste lab and make your own ice cream flavor !! Yum!
Went yesterday with my grandson and daughter loved it
Fun, interactive place to visit. The free samples of ice teas and ice cream are worth the trip alone.
great times for kids and adults too, and the ice cream was great. Only thing wrong is they didn't have any sugar free available.
After reading numerous negative reviews, I will say this... If you are not a fan of crowds, doing this in the summer months may not be a good idea for you. We really enjoyed the turkey hill experience. We did the taste lab and we were able to make our own ice cream combination. My kids loved it.
The kids had a blast, especially in the Tasting Lab in which they give everybody almost a pint of ice cream and allow them to flavor it however they wish. It's an add-on to the admission ticket but worth it. The rest of the experience is a lot of interactive activities a la the Please Touch Museum but all geared to ice cream, iced tea and whatever else Turkey Hill produces. It's a destination event for sure but, all in all, a solid recommendation here.
My mom, kids and I had a great time! The ice tea samples were delicious. We only had a small sample of ice cream shortly before heading to our classroom to create our own ice cream-definitely the best part.
