Tucker's in South County is not worth you time, it has poor grade steak.
GOoooooooD! – Tuckers is truly the best! Good service and fine food. The atmosphere at the Soulard Restaurant is great, too. I definately recommend it.
Tucks Sucks! – Tried this place when it first opened, my steak was undercooked, sent it back, so they burned it. Wouldn't reccommend this place to my dying dog.
The Phoenix! – I had to come back and rewrite an earlier review for this place. I broke my own rule when I went here with some friends and we were in a hurry to catch a movie. My previous experiences showed Tucker's to be good, but slow, and I was plenty nervous about needing to get in and out in a reasonable time. The service was well above average, and the steaks were the best ever. I dunno who they hired, but somebody is making a BIG difference there!
Great Steaks!!! – Great place to enjoy a good meal before taking in the entertainment in Soulard. The wait is usually long but worth it.
Worst service on earth!!!!!!!! – When I went to Tuckers a few weeks ago I waited 2 hours and it would of been longer if my husband wouldn't of said something to the hostess. They skipped over our name. They did not apologize to us for skipping us and they didn't even apologize for the wait. Once we finally got a table a waitress ran into me and got food on me. Then she blamed it on me. They were extremely rude and I will never go there again!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hit or Miss ... – I have eaten here twice. The first time the steak was excellent (a 10) and the service was alright. The second time the steak was so-so and the service awful. The chef lost our order and we waited two hours for our dinner. I will not go back there as there are other restaurants that offer consistently good quality and service.
HORRIBLE Service!! – And the food is bad too! The idiot in the back burning the steaks needs to be shot. Be sure you have plenty of time on your hands when you go to Tuckers - you're going to be waiting for service a LONG time!
The best food ever – I have never had a bad experience at Tucker's Place. The atmosphere is wonderful and the food is the best.
