went to Truxtun Radiology for and X-ray. I am on Medicare and instead of telling me that Medicare does not pay for this X-ray they instead sent me a bill. When I went into Truxtun to ask them about the bill I was told that they don't know what Medicare does or does not pay for. I went to Kern Radiology with the same referral my doctor gave me and before I could be saying anything they told me Medicare does not pay for this type of X-ray and that they would only charge me $50.00, this I can afford. Went in for MRI on right shoulder. Everyone was very kind and caring. My tech was great at explaining the process.
I loved it says the 5* review, I mean as much as you can love laying flat on your, multi-operated on, back for yet another MRI.....but my pain is not their fault. They've done most of my open MRI's and I've always been happy with the treatment I received. Oh, and I'm also on Medicare, yet I was told over the phone when they scheduled my MRI, exactly what I would have to pay that day. It's unfortunate about what happened to the other gentleman, but I'm sure it wasn't intentional. Thank you Truxtun Radiology.
