Received trunk last week. Coat listed on being sent not in box. Contacted customer service they made note of it. Indicated on website which items was returning, called for Fedex pickup. Fedex picked up. Checked site, said return was enroute. Last night got alerted by my bank of an over $500 debit charge from Nordstrom trunk. Researched found out they said they received my trunk but nothing was in it thus I was charged for those items. Huge Rip off!!! Trunk Club overcharges for the items that they send you! You can get the same items for way less on the manufacture’s own website. I want to warn others about the integrity of this operation! Be warned!!!
This service has turned into a total disaster. It use to be great. You worked with one stylist who listened to you, got to know your preferences and sent you things that you actually liked. Now, you get a bunch of crap thrown together by some random people that clearly don’t read any notes you have left or any preferences you have. If you ask for high end fitted pieces you will be sent clearance $22 tunics from the juniors department even though you stated you are an executive. At first I loved trunk club. That was a year ago. For the last 6 months or so - I feel like my trunk is thrown together last minute by a 16 year old. I have written numerous messages that I can not stand the all white sneaker trend. So every trunk I get - all white sneakers. I also have asked to not send trendy - this season only pieces. I would really like to know if there is a stylist that can be assigned to me who is NOT located in Dubuque, Iowa. Why, you ask? First, any time I request a certain item to be included in my trunk, it is almost NEVER available. Second, although Nordstrom always has a wonderful selection of new items on the website, I am constantly receiving items of clothing that seem to be last season's stock or end of season sale items - in other words items that Nordstrom appears to be pushing so as to reduce inventory or warehouse space. ... read more
I received my first box today. I’m very impressed! My stylist understood exactly what I was looking for and she nailed it with style and fit. I kept all but 1 piece. It was so easy, I will definitely be using this service in the future.
I'm embarrassed by how much I love this service. I love it so, so much. I referred my daughter and am buying her first trunk for her birthday.
I used to love Trunk Club. I've been getting trunks since 2017. I had a fantastic stylist who did an amazing job picking out items that have become some of my favorites. Now with the new group styling, you get a different person making each decision. I've tried with two trunks since the switch and keep getting items that don't follow my preferences.
