I took my visiting parents here who, while not foodies per se, are notoriously picky. They loved TK and the atmosphere. TK knows how to take care of people. Great vibe, excellent staff.
Once again, a disappointment. The menu is so tired and the food is mediocre at best. Whatever glob of paste was used to stick my crab cake to the plate tasted of dish detergent. The brick pressed chicken was blah. I continue to give this place a shot. I won't make the mistake again. On the upside, the server was wonderful - she should find another job. Where her talents won't be wasted serving boring, tasteless food.
We had a 8:45 reservation for four, showed up at 8:45 waited 15 minutes to be seated at the open table about 5 feet from the host's stand after the host disappeared for about 10 minutes. Waited 15 more minutes to get our drinks, one of which was made completely incorrectly. My father asked for a very dry vodka martini it came extremely dirty.
