The Tru rest float spa made an excellent healing gift for my soldier. The rigors of basic training are challenging for both mind and body, but a chance to enjoy the solace and environment of a pod and oxygen bar afterwards was just what they needed to re-center and release. I highly recommend this gift which doesn't need to fit in a ruck sack or small foot locker. It's the gift of peace and relaxation.
Well I think it should have a soft sponge to lay on with a head rest, and you should pick your own music, I though thier choice of music made me bored out of my mind, so I turn on my music from my radio, I could lay for the full hour, but I felt it pull out edema from my body, need to offer more washcloths and a seat so one can sit and dress, I didn't know till I got home that salt was in my ears, even though I showered.
Amazing, relaxing, therapeutic in so many ways! Cannot wait to go back. If you're a water baby like me (especially ocean water) this is a MUST. Love it!!
It was very restful and peaceful. Felt like a deep meditation. I did not want to come out.
I was so incredibly impressed. Being in complete darkness really sped up the rejuvenation. It is life changing for people holding a lot of stress and exhaustion. Really "reset" my mind and body. I'm hooked!
Not at all scary. Even if you're claustrophobic, there is a light inside the pod. I spent my first float just observing the way my body was reacting to everything. It was very interesting. I can't wait to see how much I get into it after the next few floats. I signed up for a membership right away.
I loved it! I had a great experience and the staff was so helpful. I will definitely be going back.
