What an interesting hotel! Very basic -- no microwave or coffee maker in the room -- but very clean and new. They make a big deal of a welcoming lobby with very good coffee available for free plus other snacks for sale. There is even a pool table in the lobby. The breakfast was extensive and very good. No restaurants within walking distance. Columbia State College, a beautiful school, is right there. If all Tru by Hilton are like this, we would like to stay in more.
Excellent! Great location, great value, comfortable and friendly
I was in town for a funeral and spent one night at this hotel, and I thought it was awesome. I had read some reviews where folks commented on the small rooms and the lack of a dresser and in-room coffee service (all true, by the way). But those things didn't bother me at all. I loved the slightly funky decor, I thought the bed was comfortable, the room was spotlessly clean, and every person I dealt with at the desk (okay, both of them) were helpful and courteous. Easy access from I-65. There are plenty of good restaurants around here and only minutes away from the historic Franklin downtown.
Clean rooms and common areas. Breakfast is serviceable. Good location for being near family.
