RecommendedI went to another ER and was treated like garbage. Sumner Regional Medical Center in contrast treated me with respect and quality care I felt I could trust.
I have been here almost 4 hrs in the emergency room waiting room and still have not seen anyone. the wait here is ridiculous.
My father was here for over a month. Granted his death was a combination of complications of severe COPD, pneumonia, and sepsis. Most of the nursing staff was excellent and truly cared about my father. As well as his doctors. My issue isn’t with the nursing, doctors, or staff. My issue is with how they handled the uptick in covid cases in Sumner County by restricting visitors. I am understanding to a point. I have lost all respect for this hospital because the staff likes to crack jokes and makes fun of the patients very unprofessional least have the nerve to do it where they can't hear if u gonna laugh about them. I hope someone Sues them and has this place shut down and I've noticed the only positive reviews are from ppl that the staff probably personally know or know of AS SOMEONE IMPORTANT HERE WHAT A SHAME

went to sumner regional on 6/16 and dr.lummus told me i had a uti amd sent me home with the machine beeping because my blood pressure was low and heart rate was high. i went to hendersonville tonight because of the same symptoms and they said no uti and my gallbladder needs to come out. sumner regional charged me for a false test and did nothing but send me home.

RecommendedI had my little girl at Sumner Regional on May 31, 2020. I had a bad experience here once during an "early labor" scare, and thought my experience actually having my baby would be horrific. It was the FURTHEST thing from negative. I worked with Dr. Eamon Felton since the beginning of my pregnancy, and he happened to be on-call the night of my c-section (lucky coincidence), but I think any of their doctors (as I spoke to many during my stay, Dr. Bennett, Dr. Tressel, etc.). ...Continue Reading
RecommendedGreat crew in Same day surgery.
They do not listen to the patients when they ask the patients questions. The case managers are horrible at making sure supplies, prescriptions and necessary services are in place before patients are discharged. Upper management is non-responsive when trying to get issues addressed.
