Living in Germantown, the Trolley Car Diner is within a few minutes of the house, as well as being a top-notch, friendly, clean, well staffed diner for all of us in the Northwest section of Philly, bar none! The food is great (oh, the burgers) and the owner, management, servers, and other staff are great. With a welcoming atmosphere for couples, singles or families, the diner provides all we need. I'll take another order of fries, please! :-) Thanks for being there for us!
There are plenty of weekends where my husband and I get a couple of omelets and a few cups of coffee before hiking around the Wissahickon. The staff is always helpful, the place is always clean and we enjoy the goofy 50's diner vibe with the music and decor. And Ken's a nice guy, and works hard to bring quality development to NW Philly. We love supporting TCD.
Great place for ice cream! Great service, great atmosphere, and great people working there. The Trolley Car is a excellent place to take your family out to eat. Give it a try some time.
I have been going to the Trolley Car Diner since opening night! A great place to meet friends, take the kids, or go to support one of the many many good causes that have fund raising efforts there. A community Institution, :)
Great food, friendly staff, fun for the kids. Love getting ice cream outside in the summer and adult milkshakes inside all winter! This is our go-to crowd pleaser restaurant when company comes in to town. 👍🏼
