There's no shortage on selection at the Trolley Car! The menu was like perusing a catalogue ... and it all looked good. We settled on breakfast (since it is served all day) and ordered the stuffed French toast. This was a religious experience. Challah bread stuffed with sweet cream cheese and berries -- literally filled the plate, enough to share. Also, while we didn't partake of it, there was an outstanding selection of beers and ciders there as well. Special place. We will be back.
Trolley car diner is the best place for great food and service. The waitresses are nice and friendly and the diner is always clean and their ice cream shop is the best during the spring and summer. U watch movies on a giant movie screen on Friday or Saturday nights in the trolley car parking lot during the summer.
I love this diner and the staff is friendly. My family has been eating here for many years. When I was pursuing my doctoral degree at the seminary this would be my hangout to work on my dissertation. The staff even encouraged me on my journey. I have met with ministry leaders at the diner because of the welcoming environment. Oh, I bring my grandchildren to the ice cream trolley and we sit outside on the little patio and enjoy. TCD is an active partner in our community. Looking forward to eating at their other locations. Love this place! Fair warning...if you get a sandwich and it comes with the "home made chips"...be careful...they're VERY ADDICTIVE! Highly recommended if you're in the area...go even if you're not in the area! Great food and super service!
