Great food and atmosphere! I had the Nacho Wrap and my husband had the Club.
My schnitzel was overcooked - burnt. My wife's meal was undercooked. Beautiful location and perhaps in season the food is better. I would rather visit another restaurant in the area.
Ate dinner here on 12/11. The service was outstanding and the food was pretty tasty. The German potato salad was incredible! Atmosphere was nice
We look forward to visiting The Troll Tavern everytime we go to Helen, great atmosphere, beer and food! Our waitress was fabulous :-)
A good place to stop and grab a meal after a trail run. Great atmosphere with good food and cold beer!
Slow service. Food marginal at best. Prices high.
Nice location...unfortunately I think the kitchen lost our ticket and what should have been an hour dinner or less turned into two. Folks that sat after our small table received their food in less than 15 minutes while we sat...and waited. The server was friendly but unfortunately the rest of the staff couldn't smile.
Great customer service! Shot out to JR who was our sever!
Had the Reuben sandwich and German mashed potato salad. Wasn't bad, but not enough sauerkraut or Swiss or thousand island dressing. I can't find a decent Reuben sandwich in the south and unfortunately this place was no different.
