Good food, better service... Our food was excellent and everyone else's sitting near us looked great. Two different servers made sure we lacked nothing. Yeah, a little pricey, but the riverside atmosphere is the best in town, you get what you pay for. All of these people complaining about prices need to go find some cheaper food that has some wonderful parking lot ambience.
We have eaten here more times than I can count. Service has always been good, foods always been good. Sitting out by the water is always a plus. I think I've only eaten inside once and that was so long ago I couldn't even begin to comment on what it's like. 😂
Our second visit and the first was good...a nice touristy place with a mix of pub and germanish type food. This time, we had a member of the party that needed special accommodations... the manager at the host stand took the initiative and said he'd take care of it and he delivered on his promise. It was an 'above and beyond ' type moment that makes you more than willing to return.
We were there on Easter, after waiting a while for our food, we were disappointed because everyone's food was cold. Also seems pricey , $90.00 for 4 adults and 1 child at lunch.
An expected trip took us to Helen GA and we ate here. Wonderful, friendly staff, food was good and loved eating outside on the river. Couldnt ask for a better day. We will visit again.
Food was great! Cole was a great waiter! Handled 12 of us easily.
Sucked steak was well done. Suppose to be medium. Didn't have baked Potato. Prices way to high. For bar food.
They were very kind and helpful. I have a few food allergies and the waiter made sure to help me find something that was ok for me to eat. I would definitely recommend it for anyone with the same problem.
I must be extremely lucky because I've eaten at The Troll over 20 times in the last several years and have always had excellent food and service! I'm reading all these bad reviews and the only thing I can figure out is that my Middle Ga. Redneck taste buds are different from most! Will continue having lunch at The Troll when in Helen!
