The circuit board in our 15-year-old furnace went out. A Triple T technician came to diagnose the problem. Gave us a quote of over $2,000 to fix the issue, said it would likely take a week for the part to come in, but recommended replacing the furnace given its age. The next day, another Triple T employee came out to give us a quote on a new unit. They recommended we replace the furnace and AC at the same time. Gave us a quote of over $14,000.
