Our health Insurance carrier requires that our "primary physician" issues a referral to see a specialist. The problem we have had with Trinity is they "claim" that they never received the referral request from the specialist. This has happened more than once and our investigation is that even though the request had been sent, Trinity denied receiving it, so nothing is done. Trinity needs to find a resolution to this problem BEFORE it becomes a matter of life or death.
I've gone to Trinity for years and always saw Ms. McAllister PA. She is fantastic but last year Trinity hired a new PA that is anything but. She prescribed a medication that Standard of Care requires be carefully monitored. I was unaware of this and the PA never followed though. In Feb. I went to the ER and was seen by a Cardiologist who was shocked that my blood work indicated none of this medication was in my system thereby putting me at extreme risk of stroke for months. Horrible place to see a Doctor. They do not answer the phone at all. Most concerning is that they do not return phone calls. I do not recommend to anyone.954-646-1272
I get a pair of orthotics once a year. They're always sent through and promptly paid, until my last pair ONE YEAR ago. I've been fighting harder than Trinity Medical to get this bill paid. I've made call after call between my insurance and TMG. I'm so frustrated. If I ever manage to entice them to send my bill through the correct channels with the correct coding (accomplished in the past), the annual battle will begin where I try to receive my refundable deposit back!
