Trevino's makes Mexican food like I remember from my childhood in San Antonio. Not sure what they do to the beef in their tacos but it's the way a taco is supposed to taste! Same with their cheese enchiladas - simple perfection And you can't beat their all day happy hour margaritas.
The food and drinks were exactly what you want in a Mexican Restaurant! So delicious
Figured it looked like a cool spot so I figured why not give it a shot. But I’m honestly confused at the quality of food here for the price we paid. I feel like I just had reheated left over food. I’m not sure how you can mess up fajitas. Especially the “steak” fajita, the meat looked like it was cooked under hot running water. And the taste was even worse - went straight to the garbage. The food and sauces tasted very pre-made/frozen, not to mention that the price was high for the quality of the food. Service was good, and the atmosphere was fine, yet the food made it an unpleasant experience.
It just regular tex-mex food.. Easy to get in and out
