They discriminated against me and my husband. (obviously gay). I called, and i reserved the room with my debit card. Talked to the manager 3 times the day i was coming. after i got there and tried to check in.... (after he saw two men for the Honeymoon suite) said "we dont rent to locals" so at this point im mad. and then i called their corporate office... who says they DO in fact rent to locals.... said they take this kind of thing seriously. but he still works there and has done to others after me. and i never heard anythi... read more
wonderful place. and the only hotel that accommodated me with my service dog without charging a deposit. very friendly, nice clean room. will make this my hotel of choice.
Refusing to rent a room to someone because they live too close? BS, you have rented to us and we are his neighbors. We have stayed there occasionally since the late 80’s and after this stunt I will never be back, to the hotel or the restaurant. Unforgivable to deny a room to someone after they reserved it, verified it twice, and then drank in your restaurant thinking they were being responsible by having a room!
Honor reservations that they confirm with potential customers. 1 bit of bad news kills 20 bits of good news. Shame on you.

you can start by changing your policies! Our veteran friend reserved a room only to find out that he lived too close to the hotel! Thats the stupidest thing Ive ever heard! Is his money only good at 41 miles away? Sometimes people just get tired of looking at the same 4 walls. Unbelievable.
Won’t let local veterans stay after a day of drinking....
Friends of mine were refused a room because “they live too close” (20 miles away). They had reserved the room online and had also called to verify that day.
