Great Service Manager! I just had my RAV4 in for service at Toyota Santa Monica and had the best experience. Joanna Tsymbaliuk, my Service Manager, took care of everything. Not the best car buying experience Bought my first car (which was a Honda ironically) 4 years ago here. Can't way it was a great experience. I went on my own, which is usually not a very good idea especially if you're a female. It's a competitive business as we all know, so the minute you walk in, you're already being eyed by some sales person trying to meet their quota for the month. Quick and Painless I had a tire repaired here on my RAV4. I didn't have an appointment, but they took care of me like it was no problem. I worked a few blocks away and the car was ready in a few hours. Great service and, as a nice bonus, they didn't try to upsell me by telling me that there just happened to be another 10 things wrong with the vehicle that had to be replaced 'urgently'.
Outstanding Experience! The experience I had dealing with Gary Benson, Service Director at Toyota Santa Monica was nothing short of outstanding. We live close to Boston, MA and needed to ship my son's RAV-4 to Santa Monica for the Summer where he had secured an internship with a well-known record company. Terrible service department The management and staff here are so unprofessional. I made an appointment to get my car serviced (they said by making an appt they could get it done within a few hours) and my car was ready 3+ hours late. I could only pick up my car the next day (24hrs later) and the service manager was not apologetic at all. He said I should've rented a car in the meantime in anticipation of things going wrong. Also, they did work on my car and charged me for things without calling me first. Horrible experience.... read more
Absolutely the worst service department I have ever been. I took my car in for an oil change. After they told me it was ready it took them 40 minutes to finally locate the car. After 40 minutes, the car comes back with the engine splash guard (the protective cover under the engine area) loose; dragging on the floor. The clock and passenger Airbag Indicator in the center of dash were not working either.
Good enough for servicing.... Have had my 2006 Rav4 serviced here several times. It was pretty good although the people were rather impersonal and not particularly friendly. Also if you bring your car first thing in the morning, there will be a LONG line as everyone else also wants to drop off at that time.
Fantastic! My experience here was just fantastic. I had owned an older Toyota for 15 years and was looking to lease a Prius C. I got hooked up with with Truman De La Cruz by a friend who was also a customer. We talked for a while and I told him what I was looking for and what I was interested in spending for the initial payment and the monthly payments.
