Talk about a company that just does not care!!! Had a tech at my house yesterday to work on the boiler, was here for 4 hours, today it has a code and is not working. Also requested an oil delivery but the light fluffy snow was apparently to much to deal with for the driver so no delivery. OK my bad, but no call. Nothing! Pathetic!!!
Been told 3 times in the last 6 months that I would "Get a call from the service department" only to never receive a call. You clearly can't count on these people to be competent, they only thing they are prompt with is sending you the bill.
Please keep in mind, I am not an account holder with this company. I am simply a resident that rents and my landlords use this company. I had the company come out in regards to fixing the water heater for my apartment after eight days of not having hot water because they kept saying the part didn’t come in, it got delayed, this and that come to find out they could’ve just replaced the water heater which the landlord was more than willing to do and it would’ve fixed the problem immediately rather than waiting eight days. After having twins at 32 weeks and spending a month in the NICU our last priority was checking our oil and making sure it was full. We had just brought our babies home and ran out unfortunately on a Thursday evening. Friday we called over 10 companies who basically told us its not their problem and to wait til next week… Townsend was the exception. I as a customer at Townsend Energy have experienced a lot of disappointment. They are very unprofessional in handling customers and the last time I called, the person who answered the phone was very rude and impolite. Do they not respect their customers? So you should think first about becoming a customer. Even though I have been a customer there for 14 years. Because they were very rude, I moved to Dead River. It is very unfortunate that they cannot maintain their long-standing customers. Be careful with Townsend Energy!
