It is one of great Hospitals in New Orleans...In the beginning it catered for the merchant marines...Now it is for every one who wants healing and care...I miss working with good staffs of Touro infirmary but as one actor said " I'll be back"
I delivered all three of my daughters at Touro. My first was a cesarean and the second two were a twin VBAC. I'm so thankful for the care I received from my doctor (Jennifer Lapeyrolerie), as well as the L&D, OR, NICU, and postpartum staff. My doulas were welcomed and they received and respected my birth plan. I highly recommend this facility.
I delivered both of my girls at Touro, and my experience with my second was much different from my first. We had complications this go round, where my labor ended up being longer, etc. I cannot say enough about the wonderful nurses that I had (thanks Tiffany & Diana!!) & am so thankful for everyone's attentiveness & caring during the whole ordeal. My entire family is grateful for all that everyone did to take care of me & our beautiful baby girl!
