This so called psychiatrist is the worst. My antidepressant stopped working after 15 years and instead of switching medications he added another antidepressant to it. He also added several other medications that did nothing but sedate me even though I told him I didn’t want to be overly sedated, which infuriated him so much that he shook the prescriptions in my face and said “you just don’t want to help yourself” and then proceeded to rip them up. Don't go to this doctor if you want any say at all in your medical care!

I have been seeing Dr.Torbin for about 10 years he is great he found the right combination of medicine for me I was depressed bipolar and had severe anxiety and now I feel happy energetic and I work out and lost 51 pounds even on the medication!!!Im so glad I found him because I had seen different psychiatrists for 10 years and couldn’t find ant medicine that worked .I recommend seeing him if you have any of these conditions!!!!!!

I've been seeing Richard Torban since 2003. During our last telephonic appointment I told him that a change he had made in my Klonopin dosage had left me with withdrawal distress, and that I had tried increasing it to obtain relief. I've been seeing this doctor for over ten years. During our last telephonic appointment (due to the pandemic) he yelled at me for almost five minutes when I asked a question that annoyed him. Completely unprofessional. I have started the search for a new psychiatrist.
I finally got the right medicine after 20 years with Dr.Torban hes amazing I've been looking for help and he knew exactly what my disorders were from the day he met me gave me the perfect medicines and my life got back to being more normal hes so kind and professional I really recomend seeing him it's worth every cent hes amazing the best in the valley .
Dr. Torban is fantastic. He listens, is kind and willing to discuss all options. His medical knowledge and experience is vast, which makes him a special and excellent practitioner. I wouldn't hesitate to treat with Dr. Torban.
Dr. Torban is absolutely the best Physiatrist my wife an I have ever been seen by. Dr. Torban listened to our issues, concerns and fears of medications. He also referred my wife to a therapist in our town. To say that we are truly fortunate to have found Dr. Torban would be an understatement.
